The Wild Goats and the Goatherd

A goatherd took his goats outside. Some wild goats joined them. At night, they all stayed together in a cave. The next day, it rained a lot, so they couldn’t go out. The goatherd gave his own goats just a little food, but gave lots of food to the wild goats to make them like him. When the rain stopped, the wild goats ran back to the mountains. The goatherd was upset, but the wild goats said, “You fed us better than your own goats. One day, you’ll do the same to us when new goats arrive!” 

What the animals want you to know: Don’t trust someone who treats new friends better than old ones.
